Sophomore foilist Manal Shaito (Dallas, Texas) finished 10-5 at the 2020 Detroit Mercy Fencing Invitational on Sunday, leading the Titans in victories at their annual home dual meet. Shaito, who led the team with 62 victories and was named Team MVP as a freshman in 2018-19, earned multiple victories against Cleveland State (2-1), Lawrence (2-1), Michigan (3-0) and Michigan State (2-0) and also went 1-0 against Ohio State for the red, white and blue.
