Softball sophomore Taryn Peru (Bath, Mich.) slugged three home runs over the weekend, as the Titans went head-to-head against three teams that are receiving votes nationally. Peru hit homers in three consecutive games against #22-Arizona State, Illinois State and #10-Kentucky between Saturday and Sunday. She connected on her first career home run against ASU on Saturday and followed it up with two bombs on Sunday. On the season, Peru leads the team through eight games in home runs (three), RBI (six) and batting average (.286).
