Sophomore fencer Algird Szumlas (Glendora, Calif.) recorded a perfect 10-0 mark at the Danosi Open on Sunday, capturing the foil title for the second-straight season. Szumlas won all four of his direct elimination bouts by 15-5 margins or better, winning in the title bout over Wayne State's Brendan Johnson, 15-2.
