Junior Nathan Ponton (Victoria, Australia) earned victories in both singles and doubles in Detroit Mercy's home opener Saturday vs. Duquesne, a 5-2 Titans victory. Ponton earned a 6-3 win in No. 2 doubles with Chance Conley and then he earned a straight-sets 6-3, 6-2 win at No. 3 singles. On the season, he is 5-2 in singles play.
