Sophomore Artem Vasheshnikov (Kiev, Ukraine) earned a come-from-behind, three-set victory at No. 1 singles in Detroit Mercy's 7-0 rout over Illinois State on Saturday. After a 2-6 setback in the first set, Vasheshnikov recorded set wins of 6-4 and 7-5 to earn the 2-1 victory. He also earned a doubles victory at the top flight with Nathan Ponton by a 6-4 margin.
