Senior captain Austin Carlisle (Troy, Mich.) helped the Titan men's fencing team to its best-ever finish at the Midwest Fencing Conference Championships on Sunday as the team earned third out of 22 teams competing. Carlisle helped lead the men's sabre squad to a third-place finish overall, with the Titans defeating Indiana in the third-place match. Carlisle earned a key win against the Hoosiers to help propel the team to victory.
