Junior attack Jordyn Beam (Grand Valley, Ont.) keyed an 8-0 second-half run with three goals and an assist on her way to tallying six points (five goals, one assist) in a 15-14 Detroit Mercy win over Cincinnati on Friday. She added two ground balls and one draw control in the victory. The five goals tied a career-high that she set during her freshman season.
