Senior Kyle Gaines (Oxford, Mich.) earned his first collegiate victory on Thursday, winning the Bulldog Florida Invitational in Jacksonville. Gaines shot a 1-under 71 in his first round Wednesday and followed with a 2-over 74 in the final round, sinking an eagle on the 17th hole on his way to the victory. He carded a 145 (71, 74) total in his first career win.
