Junior midfielder Charlie Hayes (Shelby Township, Mich. / Eisenhower) had a career day in Detroit Mercy's 8-6 win at Quinnipiac, tallying a career-high five caused turnovers and five ground balls, also scoring a goal for the second-straight week. He held the Co-Preseason MAAC Player of the Year scoreless in the game. On the season, Hayes has 22 ground balls, 12 caused turnovers, two goals and one assist.
