Sophomore Iris Thioux (Creteil, France) helped guide the Titans to a 2-0 weekend over Wright State and Northern Kentucky with a 2-0 mark at No. 3 singles and a 1-0 mark at No. 1 doubles. Thioux was dominant in singles, recording a pair of straight set victories of 6-0, 6-3 against WSU and 6-2, 6-2 against NKU. The sophomore added a 6-4 win in doubles against Wright State as Detroit Mercy improved to 4-2 in Horizon League play. With Thioux’s help, the Titans move up to fourth-place in the conference standings with three games remaining.
