Senior Jacob Whitting (Freeland, Mich.) placed fourth at the 2017 Horizon League Outdoor Track & Field Championship in the decathlon with a PR of 5,734 points, improving on his #2 Titan all-time mark in the event. In the individual decathlon events, he was first in the javelin and second in both the 110 meter hurdles and discus.
