Bement finished a cross for the game-winner in the 106th minute.  It was his fourth goal of the season and gave the Titans a heart-breaking fourth overtime defeat on the year.

Anthony Shepherd took the loss, stopping five shots.  Loyola held the shot advantage, taking 15 shots to Detroit's six.  Fouls were abundant with the teams combining for 41 whistles in the contest.

Detroit (4-7-1, 0-3-1 Horizon) will step away from league play when it travels to Oakland to play the Golden Grizzlies on Wednesday, Oct. 19.  UDM returns to Horizon League action with a home contest against UIC on Saturday, Oct. 22.
