OLEAN, N.Y. (11/24/2015) -- Sophomore forward Brianne Cohen scored a career-high 19 points off the bench Tuesday evening and junior guard Rosanna Reynolds scored 19 points to go along with a career-best 13 rebounds, but the University of Detroit Mercy women's basketball team fell on the road at St. Bonaventure, 84-73. The game wrapped up Detroit's six-day trip on the road.

Cohen played well all night down low for Detroit (0-4). She scored 11 points in the first half, sinking five of six free throws in the first 20 minutes. She finished 7-of-10 from the free throw line for the game as Detroit went to the charity stripe 26 times. Detroit also out-rebounded the Bonnies, 42-37, in the contest, including pulling down a season-high 18 offensive boards, six by Cohen.

Cohen's 19 points were the most for a Titan player off the bench since Tayelor McCalister led Detroit with 24 points against Green Bay on Feb. 1, 2014 during the 2013-14 campaign.

St. Bonaventure got out to a 26-12 lead after the first quarter, but the Titans came back with 24 points in the second quarter to trail at the break, 52-36. Detroit out-scored St. Bonaventure in the second half, 37-32, and cut the deficit to single digits late in the fourth quarter after UDM went on a 9-0 run midway through the final stanza. Reynolds scored five points in the stretch, including the final two on free throws to pull Detroit to within eight points, 74-66, with 3:09 left.

Detroit would cut the deficit to eight points two more times in the final minutes -- once on a Cohen lay-up and the second on a coast-to-coast steal and bucket by sophomore guard Nicole Urbanick. The Bonnies would make their free throws down the stretch, however, to earn the victory on their home court.

Reynolds was a force for the Titans on the boards and had eight rebounds at the half. She notched her first double-double of the season, while junior Haleigh Ristovski also collected a double-double -- her second of the year -- with 10 points and 11 rebounds. Ristovski played all 40 minutes for the Titans.

Detroit sank five triples -- including its first three 3-point attempts of the third quarter -- after going 2-for-11 in the first 20 minutes. The Titans also just committed just six turnovers (two in the second half) in the entire contest, a season-best.

Urbanick added nine points for Detroit. Freshman Taylor Malone scored five-straight points, including a triple from the top of the key, in the first half -- her first collegiate points -- and junior Lizzy Connors also added five points for Detroit off the bench.

The point total was a season-high for the Titans. The 18 free throws made and 26 attempts were also season-highs for Detroit.

Nyla Rueter paced the Bonnies (2-2) with 21 points, including six consecutive free throws in the final three minutes of the contest.

Titan News & Notes
• It was just the second meeting between the two programs, with St. Bonaventure earning a 12-point victory in the first meeting last season.
• Cohen's previous career-high was 15 points, which came in her freshman campaign last year at Valparaiso. Cohen entered the game with eight points in three contests in 2015-16 (2.7 points per game average).
• Six of Cohen's eight rebounds were on the offensive end against the Bonnies. Fourteen (14) of her 19 rebounds this season are offensive boards.
• Reynolds' previous career-high in rebounds was 11 boards, accomplished three times in her career and most recently last year. The redshirt-junior guard led Detroit in scoring for the fourth-straight game, sharing the game-high point total with Cohen. She is now 171 points away from 1,000 for her collegiate career.
Haleigh Ristovski notched her fourth-consecutive contest with a block. She also tallied her second double-double of the season and sixth of her career.
• Reynolds and Ristovski became the first Titan pair to each record double-doubles in a game since the same two did it against Eastern Michigan on Dec. 30, 2014.
• Malone entered the game with just one career shot in three contests, but went 2-for-3 from the field in seven minutes of play.
• The Titans also made more 3-pointers than their opponent for the third game this year. Detroit sank seven triples, while the Bonnies finished with five from downtown.
