Exposure Season Recap
DETROIT (6/5/2015) -- The University of Detroit Mercy men's lacrosse team raised the bar in 2015 as the Titans posted their first-ever winning campaign en route to making the postseason for the fifth-straight year.
Detroit finished the season at 8-6, the most wins in school history, and also tied a program record with four MAAC victories in tying for second place. During the season, Detroit defeated Ohio State – a team that would make a run to the NCAA Championship quarterfinals – for the first time in school history.
The squad had a number of standout performances on the year, including sophomore
Jason Weber leading the nation in saves per game for the second-straight season, freshman
Mark Anstead earning the MAAC's Rookie of the Year, and senior
Shayne Adams ending his career as the Titan all-time leader in number of offensive categories.
UDM also did the job in the classroom as the Titans led the conference for the fourth-straight year with 16 members on the All-MAAC Academic Team.
