HIGHLAND HEIGHTS, Ky. (2/18/2016) -- Junior Rosanna Reynolds scored a team-best 18 points and freshman Lola Ristovski posted her second-straight game in double figures with 13 points, but the University of Detroit Mercy women's basketball team fell at Northern Kentucky on Thursday, 81-60.

It was just the second loss on the road for the Titans in Horizon League play this season. Detroit dropped to 8-6 in the Horizon League and 12-13 overall.

The Titans hit four 3-pointers in the first quarter, two by Haleigh Ristovski, as both teams combined for 47 first quarter points. Detroit trailed 17-12 with 2:19 left in the first stanza, but used an 8-2 run to gain the lead. Ristovski hit the first of her two triples to open the run and after a bucket by Courtney Roush, Reynolds connected on a lay-up. Haleigh Ristovski closed the run with another 3-pointer. NKU led after one quarter, 25-22, as Reynolds lead the Titans with eight points.

Reynolds led Detroit with 12 points and three assists for Detroit in the first half as the Titans trailed at the halftime break, 50-30. Lola Ristovski scored eight of Detroit's 16 points in the third quarter, but NKU tallied 18 points in the frame to maintain its advantage over the Titans.

NKU led by double figures for the rest of the contest as the Norse finished with a 51 percent shooting clip for the contest. Detroit shot 37.9 percent from the floor, sinking 6-of-19 shots from beyond the arc. The Titans were effective from the free throw line, making 10-of-12 attempts.

Detroit had nine steals in the game, three each by Haleigh Ristovski and Reynolds. Lola Ristovski sank 3-of-5 triple attempts. Reynolds led the Titans with four assists and led Detroit with six rebounds.

Courtney Roush led NKU (15-9, 7-6 HL) with 29 points.

Titan News & Notes
• Reynolds moved into 17th all-time on the Detroit women's basketball scoring list, moving past Lindsay Pasquinzo.
• It's the sixth time this season that Detroit has shot 80 percent or better from the free throw line.
• The nine steals tied a season-high. Detroit also had nine steals against Salem International and Eastern Michigan.
• Detroit is 5-2 in Horizon League road contests even with the defeat.
Lola Ristovski has tallied 30 points in her past two games, going 8-for-11 from beyond the arc.
• The Titans split the regular season series with NKU. It was the first two meetings between the two schools. Northern Kentucky joined the Horizon League prior to the 2015-16 school year.
