DETROIT (10/20/17) -- Five University of Detroit Mercy harriers who wanted one last preparation race in before the Horizon League Championship finished up on Friday evening.

The race was held at Hudson Mills Metropark in Dexter, Michigan. 

Senior Jenny Ponkowski finished atop the Titan runners, with a time of 20:08. Following behind Ponkowksi were freshman Rebekah Harden and senior Sydney Shaw, finishing with times of 20:42 and 21:06 respectively.

Junior Annmarie Taylor crossed the finished line with a time of 21:29, followed by sophomore Sarah DeDolph, who posted a time of 22:13.

This was the final tune-up race before the Horizon League Championship on October 28th at Oakland University.
