FLAGSTAFF, Ariz. (9/3/2017) -- The University of Detroit Mercy women's soccer team held the Antelopes of Grand Canyon off the scoreboard in the first half, but an early second-half marker was the only goal as the Titans fell, 1-0, on Sunday.
The game was the final for the Titans at the NAU Mountain Classic, hosted by Northern Arizona at Lumberjack Stadium.
The contest was deadlocked at 0-0 halfway through, but Grand Canyon (3-3) found the net early in the second half.Â
Senior
Rachel DeLuca led the Detroit Mercy (2-3-1) offense with three shots – two on goal - while junior
Marina Manzo posted six saves.Â
