Women's Cross Country

Titans Wrap Up Season at NCAA Great Lakes Regional Championships

TERRE HAUTE, IND. (11/9/18) -- The University of Detroit Mercy women's cross country team completed their season on Friday afternoon while competing in the NCAA Great Lakes Regional Championships. 

The Championships were hosted in Terre Haute, Ind. by Indiana State University at the LaVern Gibson Championship Course. 

Sophomore Claire Kendell was the first Titan to cross the finish line, doing so in 22:30, and just missing the top 100 in the process. 

Next across the line was senior Veronica Towianski, who finished her collegiate career with a mark of 23:27. 

Juniors Kayla Hughes and Victoria Ostrander were the next Titans to cross the finish line, doing so in 23:38 and 24:29 respectively. 

Rounding out the day for the red, white and blue was sophomore Rebecca Measel and junior Sarah DeDolph, finishing in 24:58 and 25:55 respectively.
