MADISON, Wisc. (11/15/19) -- The University of Detroit Mercy women's cross country team had two members compete at the NCAA Great Lakes Regional Championships to finish out the 2019 season on Friday afternoon.
The championships were hosted by Wisconsin on the Zimmer Championship Course in Madison, Wisconsin.
Junior
Rebecca Measel finished her last race leading the Titan pack once more. Measel took 193rd in a time of 24:49, improving on her 24:58 regional 6k time from last season.
In the final race of her rookie season, freshman
Kaitlin Murray placed 202nd clocking a time of 25:21.
Measel, Murray and the rest of the Titans will now prepare for the 2019-2020 indoor track and field season, which will begin in a couple of weeks.
