Titans' DPS Benefit Game Set For Dec. 7 Vs. Eastern Michigan

DETROIT (12/2/2019) -- The University of Detroit Mercy Department of Athletics has announced that Saturday's Dec. 7, men's basketball game against Eastern Michigan will once again be dedicated to Detroit Public Schools.

The game will tip-off at 1 p.m. inside historic Calihan Hall and all tickets are set for just $2. All proceeds from ticket sales will be donated to Detroit Public Schools K-5 with Michigan First Credit Union contributing a matching donation for all tickets sold.

Tickets can only be purchased at Calihan Hall at the ticket office (opened Monday-Friday, 9-5 PM) or on game day.

Eastern Michigan is one of Detroit Mercy's oldest rivals in school history with this being the 78th career meeting between the two schools. Located just about 35 miles away from each other, Detroit Mercy and Eastern Michigan recruit many students and student-athletes from the city of Detroit.

This is the fourth-straight year that the Titans have had a basketball game with proceeds benefitting DPS and in the last three years, over $21,000 has been raised between ticket sales and matching donations from Michigan First Credit Union.
