DETROIT (11/16/2020) -- The University of Detroit Mercy men's and women's basketball teams held their annual media day today inside Calihan Hall.

Because of the current pandemic and for safety and health of all, everything was done virtually this season.

The media day saw both head coaches talk as well as select members from both programs. 

The Detroit Mercy women's basketball team will be led by new coach AnnMarie Gilbert, now in her 19th season as a head coach at the collegiate level and 27th overall as a college basketball coach, she has totaled 287 wins and led Virginia Union to the Division II National Championship game.
 
The men's team is under the direction of head coach Mike Davis, now in his third season in the Motor City. A proven winner and a veteran in the NCAA Division I ranks, Davis is looking to get the Titans back to the NCAA Tournament.
