EVANSVILLE, Ind. (11/12/2021) -- Junior Allison Sherman placed in the top 150 as the University of Detroit Mercy women's cross country team ended its season at the NCAA Great Lakes Regional Championships on Friday.

The event was held at the 6k Angel Mounds Cross Country Course in Evansville, Indiana. 

Sherman earned 150th overall in a career-best 22:46, besting her previous PR of 23:32 at this year's Horizon League Championships.

Freshman Evie Wright took 169th in a season-best 23:01, while junior Kaitlin Murray ran the 6k in a career-best 23:04 for 171st. 

The race ended the season for the women's cross country program.
