LOUISVILLE (10/1/22) -- The University of Detroit Mercy women's cross country team finished sixth at the Live In Lou Classic led by
Allison Sherman picking up her second win of the season on Saturday night.
Sherman set a personal record in the 5k with a time of 18:09.5 which was five seconds faster than the second finisher. Her time was also 27 seconds faster than her previous personal record set two weeks ago at Notre Dame.
Other Finishers
Kaitlin Murray earned another top-30 finish on a 19:25.2 time for 22nd, while
Ayva Schmalz took 27th at 19:39.1 to round out the Titans in the top-30.
Evie Wright secured 31st for Detroit Mercy at 19:45.1 as the only other Titan in the top-50.

Following the Live In Lou Classic, the red, white, and blue will have another week off from competition before finishing the regular-season in Bowling Green, Ohio at the Falcon Invitational on Friday, Oct. 14 from the BGSU Cross Country course.
