BOWLING GREEN (10/14/22) -- The University of Detroit Mercy women's cross country team completed its regular-season schedule by running the 2022 Bowling Green State University Falcon Invitational on Friday. 

Allison Sherman led the Titans yet again as she finished 27th overall at 22:37.2 in the 6k race. Her time in Bowling Green is a personal record in the 6k. 

Kaitlin Murray ran a time of 23:40.0, good for 69th as the second Titan finisher. 

In her first attempt at the 6k in her collegiate career, Ayva Schmalz rounded out the Titans in the top-100 as she took 94th at 24:22.3.

Other Titan Finishers
Katie Anderla (126th) and Nina Pizzo (131st) were the other two Titans to race at Bowling Green.

Following the running of the BGSU Falcon Invitational, the red, white, and blue will take part in the Horizon League Championships hosted by Oakland University on Saturday, Oct. 29 from the OU Cross Country course.
