Titans Wrap Up Horizon League Championships

Men's Harriers Prior To the 8k Race
ROCHESTER HILLS (10/29/22) -- The University of Detroit Mercy men's cross country team was led by Josiah Burr and John Burke at the 2022 Horizon League Cross Country Championship from Oakland University on Saturday. 

Burr (26:08.9) finished 32nd with a personal record while Burke (26:50.9) took 60th for the Titans. 

Detroit Mercy finished 10th as a team on the day.

Other Titan Finishers 
Oscar Hernandez took 65th at 27:04.8 and Alexander Petlichkoff went 71st on a time of 27:24.7. 

Connor Joyce ran a 28:09.4 time for 84th overall and Ryan Schwab ran 28:57.3 for 91st. 

Kenny Lashaway, Isaiah Bonner, and Andrew Pries finished 93rd, 94th, and 99th respectively.

Following the Horizon League Championship meet, the red, white, and blue hope to send their harriers to the NCAA Great Lakes Regional hosted by Indiana State on Friday, Nov. 11 from the LaVern Gibson Championships Cross Country course.
