TERRE HAUTE (11/11/22) -- The University of Detroit Mercy women's cross country team concluded its 2022 season at the Great Lakes Regional meet at the LaVern Gibson Championship course hosted by Indiana State University on Friday, Nov. 11.
Titans At The Great Lakes
Allison Sherman led the Titans, once again finishing in the top-100 as she ran a 21:54 time for 77th overall. Her time in the 6k at Indiana State is a new personal record, beating her time at the 2022 Horizon League Championship by just over a second.
Sherman also becomes the 30th Titan finisher inside the top-100 at regionals with her efforts on Friday.
Kaitlin Murray finished 176th at 23:34.1 while
Evie Wright was just behind her at 23:54.9 for 182nd.
Ayva Schmalz finished with a time of 24:21.1 for 200th and
Katie Anderla was one second off of her personal record time at the 2022 Horizon League Championship, running a 25:25.1 time on Friday.
