Maddie Johnson had two.
Senior
Emily Beazley had a caused turnover and a ground ball and sophomore
Cat Kopchia registered an assist.Â
The Titans were 11-of-12 on clears and just lost the ground ball battle, 16-11.
Michigan raced out to a 13-0 lead before Vergara scored as she picked up a ground ball off a shot from junior
Marina Butler that was saved and beat the keeper.
Later in the game, Kopchia won a draw control and set up Dale, who fired in a goal.
The Titans will have some extra time before their next game as they open the MAC season at Robert Morris on Feb. 23.Â
