Annie Gilbert each scored two goals as Detroit Mercy had seven different players get on the board but it was not enough at the Titans dropped a 12-11 heartbreaker in overtime at Youngstown State.

Detroit Mercy (0-6, 0-3 MAC) got off to a hot start scoring two goals under the first two minutes of the game and increased their lead to 5-0 at the 5:21 mark. YSU (4-3, 2-0 MAC) added a pair of goals to trail 5-2 after the first period.
Both teams scored three goals in the second period with Camm's goal just before the half gave Detroit Mercy a 8-5 lead.
YSU responded with three goals in the third period while keeping the Titans off the board to tie the game at 8-8.
Harder's goal at the 14:27 mark in the fourth period moved the Titans ahead 9-8 followed by Gilbert's tally which put them ahead 10-9 after the Penguins tied it for a second time. YSU then got two consecutive goals to take their first lead of the game at 11-10 with 6:59 to go. Butler completed her hat trick with 1:30 left tying the game at 11-11 to force overtime.
The Penguins then got the game-winner in overtime at 2:02 to remain unbeaten at home.
Detroit Mercy will be back in action against Akron on Wed., March 16 at 1 p.m. at Birmingham Seaholm HS.
