Home For New Year's, Three Game Homestand To End Regular Season Highlight Titans' #HLMBB Schedule

INDIANAPOLIS (8/16/2022) -- Ring in the New Year's with the men's basketball team as the Titans will be home when the clock strikes midnight as the Horizon League released its conference schedule on Tuesday.

The schedule begins with a road trip to 2022 league co-champions Purdue Fort Wayne on Dec. 1 and Cleveland State on Dec. 3. At the end of the month, the Titans will welcome Green Bay to Calihan Hall on Dec. 29 and Milwaukee on Dec. 31, the last day of 2022.

Detroit Mercy then visits defending tournament champion Wright State on Jan. 6 and postseason nemesis NKU on Jan. 8. Youngstown State (Jan. 12) and Robert Morris (Jan. 14) will then come to McNichols and Livernois and after a quick trip to IUPUI on Jan. 21, the #MetroSeries will start at home as Oakland comes to historic Calihan Hall on Jan. 23.

A couple of alternating road and away weekends follow as the Titans get on the bus for Robert Morris and Youngstown State on Jan. 27 and Jan. 29, respectively, before Cleveland State (Feb. 2) and Purdue Fort Wayne (Feb. 4) arrive on campus. The red, white and blue then get on the plane for Milwaukee (Feb. 9) and Green Bay (Feb. 11) before heading back for a short trek to Oakland on Feb. 17.

A three-game homestand will then send the Titans into the postseason as IUPUI (Feb. 19), NKU (Feb. 23) and Wright State (Feb. 25) travel to the Motor City.

The Titans ended last season at 14-16 overall and 10-7 in the Horizon League, good for sixth place, in a year that saw five home conference games canceled due to the pandemic.

The full non-conference schedule will be announced shortly.
