
DETROIT (8-17-22) – First year Head Coach
Kate Achter announced the Detroit Mercy women's basketball 2022-23 non-conference schedule followed by the Horizon League who also announced the 2022-23 conference slate.
The Titans open the season on the road at North Dakota (11/7) and Xavier (11/10) followed by the home opener at Calihan Hall against Canisius (11/13). Detroit Mercy then plays three consecutive games against teams from the Mid-American Conference (MAC) beginning at Western Michigan (11/19), home against Northern Illinois and concluding at coach Achter's alma matter Bowling Green (11/28).
The Titans round out the non-conference slate in December at home against Georgia Southern (12/11), at in-state foe Michigan State (12/18) and at Indiana State (12/21).
Detroit Mercy opens Horizon League play with a four-game road swing starting at Purdue Fort Wayne (12/2) followed by Cleveland State (12/4), Milwaukee (12/29) and Green Bay (12/31).
The Titans return Calihan Hall to ring in the New Year with a five-game home stand against Youngstown State (1/5) and Robert Morris (1/7) followed by Wright State (1/13) and Northern Kentucky (1/15). The home stand concludes with the season's first of two Metro Series showdowns against arch-rival Oakland (1/18).
Detroit Mercy travels to defending Horizon League champion IUPUI (1/20) before returning home to play a four-game home stand against CSU (1/26), PFW (1/28), Green Bay (2/3) and Milwaukee (2/5).
The Titans close out the regular season playing four out of their last five games on the road starting at RMU (2/9) and YSU (2/11). The red, white and blue will host IUPUI (2/16) before traveling to Oakland (2/20) for a Metro Series rematch followed by NKU (2/23) and Wright State (2/25).
