SOUTH BEND (9/16/22) -- Allison Sherman and
Kaitlin Murray landed themselves in the top-50 of the 43rd annual National Catholic Championships from Notre Dame at Burke Memorial Golf Course on Friday.
Sherman led the Titans for the third consecutive time this season with a personal record 5k time of 18:36.1 which is 15 seconds faster than her time a week ago. Sherman's performance at Notre Dame comes on the heels of winning Horizon League Runner of the Week honors.
Murray was the other Titans' runner in the top-50 as she ran a 19:45.7 for 50th overall.
Other Titan Finishes
Evie Wright took 57th at 19:55.10 while
Ayva Schmalz earned 63rd with a 20:02.38 time as both rounded out the Titans in the top-100.
