DEXTER (9/2/22) -- The University of Detroit Mercy women's cross country team started the season at the 2022 Michigan Open hosted by the University of Michigan on Friday, Sept. 2.
The Titans saw seven harriers compete in the women's 5k at Hudson Mills Metropark.
Detroit Mercy was led by
Allison Sherman in 15th at 19:04.9, and
Kaitlin Murray turned in a time of 20:00.1 for 20th.
Other Titans Finishers
Evie Wright began her sophomore campaign running a 20:53.3 and
Ayva Schmalz began her Titans career clocking a 21:13.5 time.
Josie Arnold (22:12.9),
Nina Pizzo (22:37.5), and
Katie Anderla (24:22.3) rounded out the Titans for the day.
