The Titans (7-9-3, 5-5 HL) qualified for post-season play for the first time since the 2018 season.
In the first half, UDM caught two breaks as NKU (8-3-7, 4-2-4) hit the crossbar twice with the first occurring in the 20th minute. On the second time in the 40th minute, the ball hit the bottom part of the crossbar, went straight down, and appeared to hit the goal line and was ruled no goal keeping the game scoreless heading into the half.
In the second half, the Titans' best chance came at the 75:20 mark off a free kick as senior
Paige Myers sent a long ball into the box through traffic which just missed the goal to the right side.
Just 32 seconds later, the Norse took a 1-0 lead connecting on the eventual game-winning goal.
