DETROIT (6/7/23) – Second-year Head Coach
Nate Kopunek announced the 2024 Detroit Mercy men's soccer schedule which includes six home matches at Titan Field highlighted by the annual Metro Series showdown against arch-rival Oakland on Senior Day, home opener doubleheader against Chicago State (Sept. 2), and the #HLMSOC home opener against Northern Kentucky (Sept. 28).
Detroit Mercy opens the season with a pair of home exhibition matches against Lawrence Tech (Aug. 10) and Indiana Tech (Aug. 17). The Titans then open the regular season with a three-game road swing starting at Dayton (Aug. 22), followed by Eastern Illinois (Aug. 26) and concluding at Maryland (Aug. 30).
After the home opening doubleheader against Chicago State at Titan Field, Detroit Mercy is back on the road with a four-game stint starting in Ann Arbor, Mich. for a non-conference battle at Big Ten foe Michigan.
The Titans then open #HLMSOC play at defending 2023 Horizon League champion Green Bay (Sept. 14) followed by Cleveland State (Sept .21). The road swing ends with a non-conference battle at Atlantic Coast Conference (ACC) power Notre Dame.
Detroit Mercy resumes #HLMSOC play at home against NKU followed by a pair of road matches at IUPUI (Oct. 5) and Bowling Green (Oct. 8). The Titans close out the month of October by playing three of four games at Titan Field beginning with Milwaukee (Oct. 12), at Purdue Fort Wayne (Oct. 19), Western Michigan (Oct. 22) and concluding with a home doubleheader against Wright State (Oct. 26).
UDM closes the regular season at Robert Morris (Nov. 2) followed by the annual Metro Series showdown against the Golden Grizzlies at Titans Field on Senior Day.
