DETROIT (12/11/2025) -- Off a season that saw a school-record winning streak tied and a trip to the Northeast Conference championship game, the University of Detroit Mercy men's lacrosse team has announced the schedule for the upcoming season.
The Titans will start the year with three straight road games, including a pair against Big Ten opponents, as they visit Ohio State on Feb. 1 and Michigan on Feb. 10 before traveling to Hampton on Feb. 14.
The end of February will see UDM host former league rival Bellarmine on the 21st at Country Day and Jesuit-rival Marquette on campus on the 23rd.
Another three-game road swing will start the following month as the red, white and blue head to Jacksonville on Mar. 7, and then open NEC play against defending champion Robert Morris on Mar. 14 and Wagner on Mar. 21.
UDM will welcome LIU to Titan Field on Mar. 28 before going back on the road at defending regular season champion Le Moyne on Apr. 4.
The Titans will have two home games around a road contest to close out the regular season, hosting Cleveland State on Apr. 11 and VMI on Apr. 25, with a trip to Mercyhurst on Apr. 18.
The NEC Championship will be held on Apr. 30-May 2 as the regular season champion, with the top four teams battling for a berth to the NCAA Tournament.Â
Detroit Mercy returns 27 letterwinners, four of its top six goal scorers, and its starting defensive unit for a team that tied a school record by winning five straight games and upsetting top-seeded Le Moyne in the NEC semifinals.Â
