DETROIT (4-21-25) – Newly promoted Detroit Mercy women's basketball Head Coach
Kiefer Haffey announced the signing of newcomer Rayven McQueen as a part of the 2025-26 recruiting class. McQueen comes to the Titans from Grand Blanc High School and is the younger sister of current fifth-year senior guard and #HLWBB Third Team All-League selection,
Aaliyah McQueen.
"We are incredibly excited to bring Rayven into our program, which is built on toughness, intensity, and deep relationships among the players and staff," said Haffey. "From the first day we began evaluating Rayven, our favorite quality has always been her motor and competitiveness. Even in the games where she may feel like her shot isn't going in, she impacts the game as much as anyone on the floor with her ability to rebound, defend, and win every 50/50 ball. She is the quintessential Detroit Mercy basketball player that this community will fall in love with."
