DETROIT (8/19/2025) -- The University of Detroit Mercy men's basketball team will suit up for two exhibition games to get ready for the 2025-26 campaign.
Detroit Mercy will welcome Grand Valley State to Calihan Hall on Oct. 24 for a 7:00 p.m. tip to begin the preseason slate.
Less than a week later, on Oct. 30, UDM will meet Central State in the 1st Annual Horatio Williams Foundation & Wayne State University Athletics Hoops & Culture Event. The day will feature four exhibition games - all held at the Wayne State University Fieldhouse - with the Titans playing at 5:00 p.m.
The other games that day will have Eastern Michigan facing Tuskegee at 11:00 a.m., GVSU battling Wilberforce at 1:00 p.m., and WSU ending the day against Talladega at 7:00 p.m.
Tickets to the event will be announced in the near future.
UDM will open the regular season at UIC on Nov. 3, and the home opener is set for Nov. 11 against Cleary.
