
INDIANAPOLIS (8-28-25) – The Horizon League office announced the Detroit Mercy women's basketball 2025-26 conference schedule, which begins with home-opening action against Cleveland State (12/4), followed by a battle against IU Indy (12/7) at Calihan Hall. The Titans host arch-rival Oakland in Metro Series action (1/18).
The 2025-26 season marks the third year of the League's modernized scheduling approach, offering the competitive equity of a non-travel partner schedule with the sustainability benefits of a travel-partner schedule.
During the holiday break, Detroit Mercy opens a three-game league road swing beginning at Robert Morris (12/16) before ringing in 2026 at Wright State (1/2), followed by Northern Kentucky (1/4).
UDM welcomes Milwaukee (1/8), followed by defending 2024-25 Horizon League champion Green Bay (1/10) at Calihan Hall, before a rematch at Cleveland State (1/14).
After the Metro Series battle against the Golden Grizzlies, Detroit Mercy travels to Wisconsin with a pair of rematches at Milwaukee (1/22) and Green Bay (1/24). The Titans close out the month of January with a home tilt vs Youngstown State (1/29).
The Red, White, and Blue open the month of February at 2024-25 HL runner-up Purdue Fort Wayne (2/1), followed by the Metro Series rematch at Oakland (2/7).
Detroit Mercy opens a three-game home stand against WSU (2/12), followed by PFW (2/14) on Valentine's Day, and ending with RMU (2/19). They then hit the road for a two-game set at IU Indy (2/22) and YSU (2/25).
The Titans conclude #HLWBB regular season play with the home finale at Calihan Hall against NKU (2/28) to close out the month of February.
The new 2025-26 #HLWBB Championship format begins with a play-in (3/2) and first round action (3/4) on campus sites. The Second round (3/8), semifinals (3/9), and championship game (3/10) will be played in Indianapolis, Ind.
