Samantha Sackfield each recorded a shot on goal as Detroit Mercy fell to Youngstown State in #HLWSOC action on Sunday afternoon at Titan Field.
Detroit Mercy (3-7-2, 1-3-1 HL) had a pair of good chances in the first half to take the lead. In the 17th minute, Hughes fired a hard shot that the goalkeeper knocked down, making the save that resulted in a loose ball rebound that the Titans couldn't put home. In the 26th minute, junior

YSU (4-7-3, 4-0-1 HL) then capitalized, getting on the board in the 41st minute to take a 1-0 lead into the half.
