INDIANAPOLIS (February 28, 2026) – The bracket for the 2026 Barbasol Horizon League men's Basketball Championship was released on Saturday following the completion of the regular season.
Detroit Mercy earned the third seed after going 12-8 in league play and 15-14 overall, tying for third place and earning the best seed due to tiebreakers.
Milwaukee is the eighth seed after going 12-19 overall and 8-12 in HL action.
UDM swept the Panthers this season, taking a 76-63 win on the road and 91-86 at home.
The game will be on Wednesday, Mar. 4, at 7:00 p.m., at Calihan Hall, and tickets can be
purchased here.
The 2026 Barbasol #HLMBB Championship will begin on Monday, March 2 with a Play-In contest between No. 10 seed Cleveland State and No. 11 seed IU Indianapolis at 7 p.m. ET in Cleveland.
Every game of the championship will be carried on ESPN networks with the play-in, first round and second round games streamed on ESPN+. The first semifinal game will be on ESPNU starting at 7 p.m. ET on Monday, March 9 followed by semifinal No. 2 on ESPN2 at 9:30 p.m. ET.
The championship game will air on ESPN at 7 p.m. ET on Tuesday, March 10.
The 2026 Barbasol Horizon League Basketball Championships will culminate with second round, semifinal and championship games at the Corteva Coliseum March 8-10.
