INDIANAPOLIS (6-16-26) -- The Detroit Mercy softball and men's soccer programs were honored by the Horizon League as the conference announced its annual Raise Your Sights award winners on Tuesday. This marks the third time in four years the men's soccer team has earned this honor.
Softball had the highest GPA among all Titan teams at 3.61, while men's soccer ranked second at 3.57.
• The honor is given annually to the top academic men's and women's teams in the Horizon League, based on combined grade point average (GPA) from the current academic year.
• Youngstown State men's tennis was the top men's team in the League, while Green Bay women's golf led the League with a 3.96 team GPA for the academic year.
• The top academic men's and women's teams from each of our member institutions are also recognized by the Horizon League.
• Ten different League sports were represented on the list of school winners, with men's golf and women's soccer leading the League with four programs each receiving recognition.
