DETROIT (6-22-26) – Detroit Mercy women's basketball Head Coach
Kiefer Haffey announced the signing of transfer Colleena Bryant to complete the 2026-27 recruiting class. Bryant, a Detroit, Mich. native, comes to the Titans from Saint Mary's.
"Lee Lee is home! Today, we get to announce the final dynamic addition to our 2026-2027 recruiting class, who is a local Detroit product and someone the Titan community is going to fall in love with," said Haffey. "Colleena is tough as nails, defends, can score, and is a floor general to the core with high-level court vision and passing ability. She was a Michigan Miss Basketball finalist and someone we've been fortunate enough to have a relationship with, dating back to her grassroots days. Colleena has a tremendous support system from her family to her high school and AAU coaches, who have raised her into a high-character young woman. She's a hard worker, competitor, and phenomenal teammate who advocates for the success of those around her. She fits our 2026-2027 locker room and our Titan basketball identity. We can't wait to see how special we believe she can be."
