Detroit Mercy (3-5-1, 1-1 HL) and Green Bay (7-0-2, 2-0 HL) played to a scoreless draw in the first half, with the Titans having one corner kick opportunity and no recorded shots. The Phoenix posed six shots, with three on goal along with two corner kick chances.
Jakubowski had a good look in the 61st minute and fired a shot to the upper right corner that was saved. GB finally broke the scoreless draw in the 80th minute to take a 1-0 lead.
Jakubowski posted her second shot just a minute after the goal, but her equalizer bid was off target as the Phoenix held on down the stretch to remain undefeated on the season.
