Started 34 of the 36 games on the year…fifth on the squad in scoring (10.2) and led the Titans with 56 3-pointers…averaged 3.0 rebounds, 1.6 assists and 1.1 steals…his 34.4% three-point field goal percentage topped the team, while his 75.8% shooting at the free throw line was fourth on the team and ninth in the HL…scored in double figures in 15 of the last 20 games ... accounted for three points, three rebounds and two steals in the NCAA Tournament loss to nationally-ranked Kansas (3/16)…had a game-high 19 points in the win versus. PRIOR TO DETROIT:
Calliste came to Detroit after attending Quality Education Academy in Winston-Salem, NC...As a senior, he averaged 24 points and 11 assists per game for the Fighting Pharoahs, leading the team to a 26-7 mark and a No. 6 ranking in the state...A native of Scarborough, ON, Calliste was tabbed a four-star recruit by rivals.com during his senior season as well as the No. 86 overall and 20th-ranked guard in the country...He played his AAU ball for Grassroots Canada and was named the MVP of the 2008 Adidas Super 64 Tournament in Las Vegas, after leading the team to the tournament championship with 29 points in the title game...The victory gave the team the distinction of the first Canadian travel ball program to win a major summer AAU title.
