Made an immediate impact in his first year as a Titan….played in all 36 games with 31 starts, tallying 9.2 points (fifth on the team) and 4.6 rebounds (third on the team) per game…shot 52.2% from the floor, second on the squad and ninth in the Horizon League…58 of his 119 field goals were dunks as he proved to be one of the most exciting players in the conference…led Detroit with 15 points on 5-of-8 shooting from the field and 5-of-6 from the free throw line in the NCAA Tournament game against the No. 2 seed Kansas Jayhawks (3/16)…netted 11 points in the HL quarterfinals victory over Youngstown State (3/2)…tied career high with 18 points in the win over Loyola in the first round of the Horizon League Tournament (2/28) ... had the #1 dunk on ESPN SportsCenter’s Top Plays with a vicious right-handed jam in that game ... had 13 points, seven rebounds, two steals and career-high five assists at Valpo (2/2/12) ... tied season highs with four steals in the win against Wright State (1/21) ... registered second double-double of the season with a 16-pt, 12-rebound performance in the win versus Alabama State (12/22) ... made second start as a Titan in the win over Austin Peay (11/23) ... scored a career-high 18 points in that contest... made first start as a Titan against Concordia (11/18), posting a double-double with 12 points and game-high 13 rebounds ... scored 10 points and grabbed seven rebounds in Division I debut, a season-opening win over Lake Erie (11/11)…honored with the Norm Swanson Top Newcomer at the men’s end of the year basketball banquet.

Led the Mott Community College Bears to a runner-up finish at the NJCAA national championships as a sophomore ... led the Bears to a pair of state titles ... averaged 15.5 points, 5.6 rebounds and 1.4 blocks per game ... shot 60.2 percent from the floor, thanks to his athleticism ... had a pair of his dunks featured on ESPN's "Top 10 Plays" during his stint at MCC ... was ranked in the the top 40 of all 2011 JUCO recruits according to rivals.com.
