2013-14: Named to UDM Athletic Director's Honor Roll.

2012-13: Finished third overall on the men's side with 18 wins... Placed 60th in men's foil at MFC Championships at Notre Dame (3/2-3)... Had four wins to tie for team's second highest win total at Notre Dame Duals (2/23)... Compiled three wins at Northwestern (2/3)... Had four wins at UDM Invitational (1/12)... Two of those wins came against Oakland in team's 15-12 victory... Placed 18th in men's foil at Istvan Danosi at Wayne State (12/2)... Named to UDM Athletic Director's Honor Roll.

2011-12: Came back for a full season and finished fifth on the men's foil team in wins with 26... Included three 5-0 victories and six one-touch victories... Opened UDM Invitational (Jan. 15) with a 3-0 victory over Xavier helping the men's team to a 15-12 win... Earned third highest win total with a 5-7 record at Army and Vassar (Jan. 21 and 22)... Finished 66th at MFC Championships at Notre Dame (March 4)... Placed 17 at first ever NCAA Regionals at Cleveland State (March 11) as one of ten Titans competing in the NCAA Tournament... Captured Men's Most Improved Award as awarded by the coaching staff. 

2010-11: Earned a varsity letter appearing in 25 bouts capturing two wins on the season.

Prior to Detroit: No fencing experience.

Personal: Born in Detroit... Son of Liz Robertson and John Knisely... Has three siblings Zac, Josh, and Hannah... Brothers Josh and Zac both have UDM roots with Josh already graduated and Zac a CIS major... Enjoys playing music, reading, drawing, and traveling... Major is history.
