2013 Outdoor: Ran 2:16.33 800m PR to make Horizon League final where she scored 6th running 2:19.46, after a ninth place 4:46.64 1500m… Opened season with 10:39.34 3000m PR at Toledo… Placed 18th in 1500m (4:47.76) and 17th in 800m (2:20.67) in Sacramento…Closed season with a 5000m PR of 18:36.00 at Grand Valley State.
 
2013 Indoor:  Returned from injury after missing Cross Country season… Ran a 5:24.31 mile PR at IPFW in second race back… Ran leg 1200m (3:52) of UDM record DMR (12:28.21) at Youngstown State… Was 11th place in Horizon League mile running 5:19.33 PR after placing 13th in 800m (2:20.72).

2012 Outdoor:  Won Team’s Most Improved after returning from injury and becoming first in Titan 1500m Top 10 since 2003 running PRs each time out... 1500m debut at Eastern Illinois (3/30-31) running 4:58.56... Was runner-up in Oakland Dual (4/7) improving to 4:57.43...  Broke into Titan Top 10 at Bucknell (4-13/15) running 4:48.80 and doubled back to 800m PR of 2:19.58... 4:47.48 PR at Al Owens Classic (4/20-21)... Hung in lead pack in Horizon League (5/4-6) 1500m finishing 8th in 4:44.36 (#7 Titan) and also improved 800m to 2:18.85 (#9 Titan) for 12th.

2012 Indoor:  Made Titan debut in mile run (5:52.52) at Red Simmons Invite (1/21)... Ran 800m season best of 2:25.46 at YSU National Invite (2/3-4) as well as 3:12.25 in 1000m... Set 1000m PR of 3:09.64 at Windsor (2/11).

2011-12: Joined the track and field team in January 2012 after previously attending Macomb Community College in her freshman and sophomore seasons.

Prior to Detroit: Was a two-time Academic All-American at MCC... A two-time NJCAA National Qualifier in both her freshman and sophomore years in cross country... In track, she was a NJCAA National Qualifier in the 800m, 1000m, 4x800m and DMR events... Captured All-America honors in the 1000m, 4x800m and the DMR... Was the National Champion in the DMR.

High School: Was part of the track and field and cross country teams at L'Anse Creuse North...  With the cross country team, garnered All-County honors as a sophomore, junior and senior... Was a state qualifier in her senior year finishing seventh overall individually and her team placed second... She was the team MVP each of her last three years and was also the team captain.

Personal: Daughter of Anne and Jeff Poppe... Born in Detroit... Has one younger sibling Alexander... Enjoys running, Irish Dancing, lifeguarding and traveling... Her grandmother Susan Poppe previously attended Detroit... Lists her biggest athletic thrill as participating in the National Championships for Indoor Track.
