2014-15: Named to UDM Athletic Director's Honor Roll.

2012-13: Had 12 wins in first year of fencing... Two of the wins were 5-0 blankings... 12 wins were second best on the men's epee team... Was 42nd in men's epee at MFC Championships at Notre Dame (3/2-3)... Had three wins in pool play before falling in table of 64... Also helped men's epee team jump from a 16th seed and finish in the 10th spot at MFC... Had three wins at Notre Dame Duals (2/23)... Had a pair of victories at Northwestern (2/3)... Recorded four wins at UDM Invitational (1/12)... Was 26th in men's epee at Istvan Danosi at Wayne State (12/2).

High School: Earned four letters on the golf team at Paul K. Cousino for the Patriots... Also earned two letters playing on the tennis team... Part of the National Honor Society and drumline in high school.

Personal: Son of Bruce and Caren Bendes... Has a sister, Callie, who also attends UDM... Born in Pontiac... Enjoys paintball, hunting and writing... Major is creative writing.
