2011-12: Named to UDM Athletic Director's Honor Roll... Named to 2012 Horizon League Spring Academic Honor Roll.

2010-11: Earned first win at No. 1 singles with 6-2, 6-3 win on Jan. 28 over Dayton... Took home a Horizon League victory over Valparaiso on March 26 with 6-2, 7-5, 6-1 defeat... Started Horizon League play with two conference wins at No. 3 doubles paired with David Stabley... Finished the dual-match season with four singles wins including two in the Horizon League... Also totaled two conference doubles wins playing with Stabley... Member of the Horizon League's 2010 Fall and 2011 Spring Academic Honor Roll... Named to the 2010 UDM Athletic Director's Honor Roll.

2009-10: Ended the year with 14 total victories under his belt, playing mostly No. 5 singles and No. 2 doubles…His 14 wins were split with seven apiece in singles and doubles, with three conference singles wins…He did garner a win at No. 3 singles with a dominating 6-0, 6-0 ledger over Chicago State’s Michael Chew…Defeated UIC’s, Valparaiso’s and Youngstown State’s No. 5 man in straight sets…Had a rousing come-back victory against IUPUI’s Joel Modesitt dropping the first set 6-0 before taking the match 7-5, 10-7…Dropped his only match in the qualifying round of the ITA Midwest Regional Championships…Member of the Horizon League's 2009 Fall and 2010 Spring Academic Honor Roll... Named to the Athletic Director’s Honor Roll.

2008-09: Was honored with the Coach’s Award after the season that saw him finish third on the team with 24 total victories and 11 singles wins…His 13 doubles wins, all of which came playing with Patrick Troy at No. 3, were also tied for the team lead…Played mostly at the No. 5 and 6 slots in singles…Earned his first win in his first-ever collegiate match against IPFW’s Francisco Sigaun, 6-3, 7-5...Went on to win two more individual matches at the Detroit Titan Fall Invitational, along with all three doubles contests to claim the No. 3 flight title...Took the Flight B consolation bracket at the Valpo Fall Classic with a pair of wins in the final day, defeating two conference opponents in Green Bay’s Matt Keesey (7-6, 3-6, 10-5) and Youngstown State’s Steve D’Angelo (6-1, 6-4)...Tolomei and Troy went on to reach the finals of the Flight D bracket at the 30th Annual Ball State Fall Invitational...That same Titan tandem went 3-2 in conference play with wins over Youngstown State, UIC and Wright State, along with regional victories against Michigan State and Toledo…Earned his first HL singles win with a 6-1, 6-0 tally over Pip Rehg of Wright State… Named to the AD Honor Roll.

Prior to Detroit: Earned four letters in tennis at Rochester Adams High School…He left Adams third on the schools all-time wins list with a 78-17 career record…Earned all-state honors as a junior after reaching the state finals at the No. 2 position…That year he was the number one seeded player in the tournament…Led the Highlanders to three league championships…Named team MVP as a junior and senior as well as a scholar-athlete all four years.

Personal: Son of Mike and Cheryl Tolomei…Hobbies include playing cards, watching tv and sleeping ... Lists his biggest thrill in sports as placing third at the SEMTA qualifier as a senior… Has an aunt who attended U-D in the 1980’s…Has two brothers Mike and Joe... Majoring in pre-med.
