Prior to Detroit Mercy: 
  • Lettered in two sports
  • Won silver at the CHSL AB in the 100-meter hurdles and also scored in the long jump and 300 hurdles as a senior
  • Earned All-League honors during sophomore, junior and senior years
  • Earned Most Improved and MVP honors junior and senior year

  • Daughter of Michelle and Rudolph Carey
  • Mother graduated from the University
  • Had a cousin who played basketball at Grand Valley State and another at Wayne State
  • Hobbies include reading, dancing and hanging out with friends
